On May 21, 2023, lots were drawn for the Palio of the Madonna of Provenzano of July 2, 2023. The seven districts that were not allowed to participate were in principle certain of their place on July 2, 2024.
Civetta has completed her 2 palios suspension; Torre (2) and Aquila (1) will not be there due to disqualification. If they are selected, they will serve all or part of their suspension.
We already see one rivalry with Leocorno-Civetta.
De drappellone will be painted by Giovanni Gasparro.

Since July 9, 2023, we know which contrade the Palio of August 16, 2024 will run.

With regard to suspended fantini:
- Giosuè Carboni detto Carburo : 2 palio (can participate in July 2025)
- Giuseppe Zedde detto Gingillo : 1 palio (can participate in August 2024)
- Valter Pusceddu detto Bighino: 5 palio (can participate in August 2026)
