On May 21, 2023, lots were drawn for the Palio of the Madonna of Provenzano of July 2, 2023. The seven districts that were not allowed to participate were in principle certain of their place on July 2, 2024.
Civetta has completed her 2 palios suspension; Torre (2) and Aquila (1) will not be there due to disqualification.
On May 26, 2024 Giraffa, Nicchio and Onda were drawn.
We will see two rivalries on the Piazza: Leocorno-Civetta and Nicchio-Valdimontone.
The drappellone will be painted by Giovanni Gasparro.

Since July 9, 2023, we know which contrade the Palio of August 16, 2024 will run.
Torre (2) and Aquila (1) will not be there due to disqualification. If they are selected, they will serve all or part of their suspension.
On July 7, 2024 Chiocciola, Oca and Istrice were drawn.
We already see two rivalries with Leocorno-Civetta and Nicchio-Valdimontone.
The drappellone will be painted by Riccardo Guasco.
With regard to suspended fantini:
- Giosuè Carboni detto Carburo : 2 palio (can participate in July 2025)
- Giuseppe Zedde detto Gingillo : 1 palio (can participate in August 2024)
- Valter Pusceddu detto Bighino: 5 palio (can participate in August 2026)
