Palio di Siena: The horses have been assigned. Aquila, Nicchio, and Lupa jumped for joy.

The horses have just been assigned to the 10 Contrade participating in the Palio di Siena on August 16, in honor of the Assumption of Mary.

Aquila, Nicchio, and Lupa could already rejoice with the three horses that have already won on the Piazza del Campo: Benitos, Anda and Bola, and Diodoro.

Five horses with at least one race under their belt—Arestetulesu, Donrodrigo, Ares Elce, Viso d’Angelo, and Canarinu—were assigned to Chiocciola, Torre, Istrice, Onda, and Selva.
