Report batterie – tratta Palio 2 luglio 2023
This morning, Thursday, June 29, the batterie of the Palio di Siena of July 2, 2023 took place. There were 34 participating horses of the 35 admitted horses; Uragano Rosso was absent this morning. They were divided into five batteries in which they drove three laps around the square with starter Bartolo Ambrosione on the verrocchio.
The first batteria was won by Trikke, ridden by Gabriele Puligheddu; the second went to Vitzichesu with Alessio Giannetti; the third was won by Verano with Marco Bitti; the fourth batteria was for Alessandro Cersosimo on Unamore; the fifth and last finally went to Zaminde with Michel Putzu. No batteria de recupero was contested.
