Painters drappelloni Palii 2022

The city of Siena has confirmed the 2 painters for the Palios of July and August 2022. Emma Sergeant will paint the drappeloni of July 2, Andrea Anastasio will do the same for the August 16 Palio. The appointment of these two artists comes as no surprise given that they were appointed in 2020 to fulfill the assignment. However, the Covid-19 pandemic caused postponement, not cancellation.
